Goal The course provides trainees with the competencies required to manage and corporate support services required for ANS provision in accordance with ICAO SARPs, associated guidance material and making use of best practices applied worldwide. Learning Objectives • After the course delivery, participants will be able to: • Familiarize with the approaches and methods aimed at assessing the workforce of an ANSP, and the definition of personnel profiles for the proper functioning of the service provider • Familiarize with organizational models and assess adequacy and efficiency to accomplish different functions. • Describe organizational requirements for ANS provision • Familiarize with economical aspects of the air transport • Describe the applicable regulatory framework of ANS economical and financial regulation • Assess different corporate models for air navigation services provision, including private services • Interpret economical and cost-efficiency issues related with the provision of ANS • Identify the financial statements and explain their content • Calculate basic ratios to determine economic and financial performance • Apply financial tools to assess investing and financing decisions • Analyze decisions using the Cost and Benefit Analyses Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : HR planning and management • Module 2 : Transport Economics • Module 3 : ANS Economics management • Module 4 : ANS accounting, investment and finance • Module 5 : Organizational management Primary Target Population Primarily aimed at ANS professionals such as ANSP management staff, engineers, air traffic controllers, economists, lawyers and other employees of an air navigation service provider Secondary Audience: Also aimed at industry professionals: airlines, airport managers, regulators and supervisors, military authorities, meteorological providers, other air navigation service providers, as well as the technology industry, consultancies and university graduates Entry Requirements • Aviation professional or university student
