Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal The course aims to provide Instrument Flight Procedure Designers, with competencies to design final (APV Baro-VNAV, APV SBAS, GBAS) and missed approach segment in accordance with ICAO Doc.8168 Vol II and ECAR PART 311 Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • • Design GBAS final and missed approach segment. • • Design APV Baro-VNAV final and missed approach segment • • Design APV SBAS final and missed approach segment Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : • Design APV Baro-VNAV final and missed approach segment • • Module 2 : Design APV SBAS final and missed approach segment • Module 3 : Design GBAS final and missed approach segment. Primary Target Population Instrument Flight Procedure Designers Secondary Audience: Pilots Air Traffic Controllers AIM Officers Entry Requirements • Qualified Instrument Flight Procedure Designers attended (conventional & RNAV)
