Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal To provide the participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes in using advanced test and measuring equipment at maintenance facilities and in the field. Learning Objectives • On successful completion of this course the trainee will be able to; • Describe the basic theories of operation of advanced test and measuring equipment used at CNS facilities. • Select the best possible test equipment to be used in a given maintenance scenario. • Use advanced test and measuring equipment for accurate measurements • Apply proper techniques for recording measurement data • Select and use proper accessories • Calibrate test and measuring equipment • Observe proper precautions for the safety of personnel and equipment Primary Target Population All ATSEP deployed at CNS maintenance facilities in Electronics and Air Navigation Engineering division Secondary Audience: Electronics Engineering and Technical Maintenance staff from other organizations who use test and measuring equipment Entry Requirements • -       Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent • -       Possession of a working knowledge of English.
