Goal This course will equip Senior AIS/AIM personnel with knowledge, skills, techniques and attitudes to conduct AIS/AIM competency assessment in accordance with AIM & Flight Procedure Design Competency Assessment Policy and Applicable National Regulations Learning Objectives • 1.     Prepare Competency Assessment • Perform Practical Competency Assessment • 3.     Conduct Oral Competency Assessment • 4.     Complete Assessment reporting Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Planning for Competency Assessment • Module 2 : Preparation for Competency Assessment • Module 3 : Oral Competency Assessment • Module 4 : Practical Competency Assessment • Module 5 : Competency Assessment Reporting Primary Target Population AIS/AIM Professionals (e.g. AIS/AIM Officers, Cartographers, Flight Procedure designers) AIS/AIM instructors Secondary Audience: ANS – AIS/AIM Inspectors Officers in charge of AIS/AIM training at the ANSP AIS/AIM Managerial Personnel Entry Requirements • 1. At least 4 years’ work experience in Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) Operations in any two of the following areas: • a) ATS Reporting Office operations-flight planning; • b) Briefing office operations • c) International NOTAM Office operations • d) Aeronautical Charts operations • e) Aeronautical Data and Publication operations • f) Aeronautical Charts operations • g) Quality Management Systems in AIS processes • 2. Successful Completion of an Instructional techniques course lasting not less than 5 days
