Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal This course provides the aerodrome civil and surveying engineers with the knowledge, skills and attitude required to carry out the aeronautical survey effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO Doc. 9674 and ECAR Parts 139, 173, 311. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • Identify horizontal and vertical reference system. • Determine the aeronautical survey requirements. • Identify aerodrome surveying Area for OLS and e TOD. • Identify the Aerodrome facilities to be surveyed. • Identify accuracy and resolutions of aerodrome data required. • Develop survey reports in accordance with ICAO Doc 9674 WGS84. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Aeronautical Survey Requirements • Module 2 : Aerodrome Survey Areas for OLS and e-TOD • Module 3 : Aerodrome Facilities to Be Surveyed • Module 4 : Accuracy and Resolutions of Aerodrome Data Required • Module 5 : Survey Reports Primary Target Population Aerodrome Civil and Surveying Engineers Secondary Audience: CAA Airport Inspectors Officials of Chart and AIP Data Publication Airport Operation and Safety Staff Entry Requirements • 1 year experience in aeronautical surveying field
