Goal This course aims to provide staff of Civil Aviation Authorities (Oversighting Authorities) with background in Aeronautical MET to provide ANS - MET Systems safety oversight services in accordance with international requirements and National Regulations Learning Objectives • • Review State Safety Oversight Requirements • • Plan ANS-MET Surveillance activities • • Conduct Surveillance on ANS-MET Systems • • Write ANS-MET Inspection report • • Enforce ANS-MET Regulations • Manage ANS-MET Oversight Documents Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Safety Oversight Requirements • Module 2 : Planning Surveillance activities • Module 3 : Conducting Surveillance • Module 4 : Inspection Report • Module 5 : Enforcement of ANS-CNS Regulations • Module 6 : Management of ANS-CNS Oversight Documents Primary Target Population Officers of CAAs responsible for oversighting ANS-MET Aeronautical MET officers, MET management officers within MET service provision Secondary Audience: Air Navigation Service provider personnel who interact with aeronautical MET Services Entry Requirements • • Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) • • A minimum of 5 years work experience in ANS-MET Operations • • Background knowledge in Aeronautical MET Systems
