Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course provides the aircraft ground de-icing/anti-icing operators with necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to effectively carry out aircraft ground de-icing/anti-icing operations according to the related standards and procedures. Learning Objectives • At the end of this course, the participants should be able to: • Inspect aeroplane icing conditions ; • Fill de-icing/anti-icing fluids ; • Conduct aeroplane de-icing/anti-icing operations ; • Inspect aeroplane de-icing/anti-icing effect. Primary Target Population The primary target population of this course is the on-the-job employees who are responsible for aircraft de-icing and anti-icing operations, the course will be used as the refresher training. This course can also be used as initial training material for the employees who are newly assigned for aircraft de-icing and anti-icing operations. Secondary Audience: The secondary target population of this course is the management personnel who are responsible for aircraft de-icing and anti-icing operations. Entry Requirements • Junior colleague and above; • Have at least one year of experience in airport operations.
