Goal This course aims to provide Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) personnel with Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes required in order to establish and implement an airport emergency plan in accordance with national and international standards Learning Objectives • Establish Airport Emergency Plan • Coordinate Emergency Response • Develop Airport Emergency Exercises • Review the Airport Emergency Plan Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Establish Airport Emergency Plan • Module 2 : Coordinate Emergency Response • Module 3 : Develop Airport Emergency Exercises • Module 4 : Review Airport Emergency Procedures Primary Target Population Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) personnel Secondary Audience: Air Traffic Managers /Controllers, Airport Managers and Emergency response agencies Entry Requirements • University Diploma and above, 3 years working experience as a fire fighter or emergency situation handler.
