Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course will equip Airside Safety stakeholders with the requisite knowledge, skills, techniques, and attitudes to comply with airside safety requirements in accordance with the ICAO Doc 9981 as well as National regulations and/or Directives. Learning Objectives • On completion of this course participants will be able to: • Identify the Operation Areas of the Airside. • Determine Airside Safety Management System • Manage Airside Safety Stakeholders • Determine Airside Safety Hazards Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Operation Areas of the Airside • Module 2 : Airside Safety Management System • Module 3 : Airside Safety Stakeholders • Module 4 : Airside Safety Hazards Primary Target Population New employees that require airside safety procedures training as part of requirements to work at the airside. Existing employees that require airside safety procedures recurrent training. Secondary Audience: Personnel from airport stakeholders and service providers that operate at the airport. Personnel responsible for training and facilitating airside operational staff. Airport managers, supervisors or personnel with operations, safety, or compliance responsibilities. Entry Requirements • Newly recruited and existing Airport and airport service providers personnel with airside safety responsibilities. • Proficiency in English Language.
