Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course will provide cartographers and designers of flight procedures with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to apply integrated database appropriately within design of charts and flight procedures in accordance with the “Rules for provision of aeronautical information in civil aviation”, “Rules of performing the flights in civil aviation of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Instruction on air navigation procedures development and design of aeronautical charts” RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”. Learning Objectives • After having successfully completed this course, the trainees will be able to: • input aeronautical data into integrated database; • use integrated database to perform design tasks; • issue chart. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Требования, регламентирующие разработку аэронавигационных процедур и оформление карт • Module 2 : Формирование и ввод аэронавигационных данных в ИБД • Module 3 : Разработка аэронавигационных процедур и формирование протокола в ИБД • Module 4 : Оформление карты Primary Target Population The primary target population includes cartographers and designers of flight procedures. Secondary Audience: The secondary target population might be managers in the field of aeronautical information services and of airspace design. Entry Requirements • Candidates should have experience as cartographers or designers of flight procedures not less than one year or should be managers in the field of aeronautical information services and of airspace design. Should speak and write fluently in Russian.
