Goal This workshop enables participants to recognize the factors that underlie human performance and understand how to apply them. Participants will also acquire tools to analyse safety and operational issues through the lens of Human Factors, and design appropriate solutions to address them. Learning Objectives • At the end of this workshop participants will be able to • Describe the fundamental concepts of Human Factors • Describe the fundamental concepts of Systems and Systems Thinking • Identify the role of Human Factors in the Aviation Sector • Identify sources of error from a Human Factors perspective • Design a Human Factors-based solution to a given problem Primary Target Population CAA authorities in the capacity of oversight, States and industry stakeholders.
