Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal To improve/sharpen knowledge, skills and attitude of in service approach procedural controllers in provision of approach Control procedural Services according to ICAO SARPs and Tanzania Civil Aviation Regulations. Learning Objectives • 1.Provide standard separation to IFR flights in area of jurisdiction. • 2.Control traffic executing Instrument Approach Procedures. • 3.Coordinate flight movements to adjacent ATS units. • 4. Control traffic in emergency or abnormal situation. Primary Target Population In service Approach Procedural Controllers Secondary Audience: Air Traffic Control Supervisers and Head of Air Traffic Management sections. Entry Requirements • Air traffic controller with Approach Control Procedural Rating
