Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal To train a new team of competent Assessors for ATS Unit and ATSTO to implement a more effective competency assessment system in accordance with the relevant ICAO SARPs and national regulations. Learning Objectives • After the completion of this course, the course participants will be able to – • 1. Assess an integrated performance in a competency-based environment and, at the same time, evaluate the performance of separate competencies. • 2. Conduct assessment by gathering evidence of competent performance. • 3. Debrief the trainees in a manner that will aid their progress in future. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Preparation for ATC Competency Assessment • Module 2 : Correlation of Evidences for Assessment • Module 3 : Evaluation of the Performance of Assessee Primary Target Population Air Traffic Controllers fulfilling the criteria to become an Assessor for ATS Unit and ATSTO as per norms defined by Aviation Regulator. Secondary Audience: Air Traffic Controllers having ATC experience of five years or more.. Entry Requirements • Air Traffic Controller having rating in Procedural Control or Surveillance Control or both.
