Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal The course provides Air Traffic Controllers with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform the duties of ATC OJTI and STDI in accordance with the "Program for organizing the training, retraining and maintaining the professional level of air traffic control and flight planning specialists" of RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”. Learning Objectives • Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will be able to: • apply procedures of organizing training and keeping records • apply procedures of providing safety considering the human factors principles during simulator and on-the-job training • apply training techniques during simulator and on-the-job training • apply evaluation procedures during simulator and on-the-job training Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Organization of Training and Keeping Records • Module 2 : Human Factor • Module 3 : Training Tecniques • Module 4 : Evaluation Primary Target Population Simulator instructors who are required to carry out practical training of the air traffic controllers in ATS units and training organizations, Air traffic controllers, ATC instructors. Secondary Audience: CAA inspectors, ATC Supervisor, ATC department officer. Entry Requirements • Participants must hold or have held an air traffic controller licence. Fluent in Spoken and Written Russian.
