Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course will provide pilots with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to coordinate effectively with air traffic controllers in order to maintain safe and expeditious air traffic services in accordance with ICAO Annex 11, ICAO Annex 2, ICAO Doc 4444 and GCAA CARs Part 8 Subpart 4. Learning Objectives • After course delivery, trainees will able to: • Comply with Air Traffic Control instructions • Adhere to standard operating procedures(SOPs) in air traffic services (ATS) Primary Target Population Ab-initio pilots who have undergone basic pilot training. Secondary Audience: In-service and experienced pilots for refresher training. Entry Requirements • Have been accepted on to a pilot training programme. • Minimum level of ICAO 4 in English.
