Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course aims to provide ATSEP with Knowledge, Skills and Attitude required to monitor & control CNS/ATM Equipment/Systems in accordance with National and International standards. Learning Objectives • 1- Diagnose the malfunction and failures on CNS / ATM equipments/Systems • 2- Activate fall back procedures • 3- Initiate repair Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Air Navigation Service (ANS) Structure • Module 2 : Operational impacts of ANS System/Equipment • Module 3 : SMC Tools, processes and procedures • Module 4 : SMC Technology Primary Target Population Primary target population are licenced Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) with a minimum of one rating in any of the CNS, data processing and infrastructure domains. Secondary Audience: Secondary target population are: The SMC-ATSEP training supervisors Air Navigation Facilities manager Air Traffic Control supervisors Entry Requirements • ATSEP Basic Course or equivalent acceptable to the authority and ATSEP license and type rating
