Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This STP will provide aviation maintenance technicians with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to write aircraft maintenance records and handle workplace emails and oral communication effectively as per the required standard. Learning Objectives • Complete Aircraft Maintenance Logbook, MRO IT System (Maintenix) and Unserviceable Tag. • Complete Shop Finding Forms and Serviceable Tags. • Complete Job Instruction Cards/Task Cards and Resume Book. • Correspond business emails effectively. • Make effective oral workplace communication. Primary Target Population The primary target populations are Aviation Maintenance Technicians starting from assistant technicians to lead technicians and graduates of basic aviation maintenance technician training. The technicians above the lead positions are considered as secondary target population. Secondary Audience: Aircraft maintenance technicians who hold management positions of, team leader, unit heads or higher, will be considered as secondary target population. Entry Requirements • Successful completion of basic Aviation Maintenance Technicians training. • Successful completion of the online training on Aviation English for Aircraft Maintenance Technician. • Good oral and written command of English.
