Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course will provide participants with competencies to evaluate aviation firefighting foam effectively and efficiently, in accordance with NFPA 412, KP 605 TAHUN 2015 and ICAO Doc 9137 – AN/898 Part 1. Learning Objectives • Upon completion the course, the trainees will be able to: • Perform foam concentrate physical properties test. • Perform fire test. • Perform Airport Rescue Fire Fighters (ARFF) vehicle foam production performance test. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Foam Concentrate Physical Properties Test • Module 2 : Fire Test • Module 3 : ARFF Vehicle Foam Production Performance Tests Primary Target Population Airport Rescue Fire Fighters (ARFF) Secondary Audience: Chief Operating Officers, ARFF in insturctor/quality and maintenance Entry Requirements • Participants must have Junior Airport Rescue Fire Fighters certificate • No color blindness • Physically and mentally healthy (required the medical certificate).
