Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course will provide to electro- mechanical technicians with knowledge,skills and attitude required to perform monthly,quarterly,semi annually and annually maintenance/checks and Repair of Conveyors (Belt and Carousel)in accordance with Tanzania Airport Authority Operation maintenance manual,and Equipment operation Manual. Learning Objectives • Perform monthly maintenance/checks • Perform quarterly maintenance/checks • Perform semi annually maintenance/checks • Perform annually maintenance/checks • Repair Conveyors belt. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Perform daily Checks/Maintenance • Module 2 : Perform weekly Checks/Maintenance • Module 3 : Perform monthly Checks/Maintenance • Module 4 : Perform annual Checks/Maintenance • Module 5 : Repair Conveyors (Belt and Carousel) Primary Target Population This course is meant for electro- mechanical technicians who are responsible for maintanance of conveyor belts at  Julius Nyerere International Airport(JNIA) and other airports within the country. Secondary Audience: Electro- mechanical engineers and supervisors who are in charge of maintenance of conveyor belts of JNIA Entry Requirements • Diploma of Associate Engineering or equivalent. • Successful completion of Basic Electro-Mechanical technicians course • Proficient in english
