Goal This workshop provides aviation professionals with an overview of CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units (CEEUs) and addresses common questions related to their implementation. Learning Objectives • After completion of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of key aspects of CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units in the context of CORSIA implementation, namely; • Eligibility of emissions units for CORSIA purposes • CORSIA Emissions Unit Eligibility Criteria • Process for the assessment of emissions unit eligibility • Market considerations (supply, demand and price) for CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units • Host country authorization under the UNFCCC Paris Agreement, Article 6 • Cancellation of CORSIA Eligible Emissions Units in CORSIA • Preparation of Emissions Units Cancellation Reports • Process for the reporting of emissions unit cancellation in CORSIA Primary Target Population Staff from Civil Aviation Authorities and Ministries of Transport, including CORSIA Focal Points Staff from aeroplane operators Secondary Audience: Staff from Government entities other than Civil Aviation Authorities Staff from consultancy companies whose primary clients are aeroplane operators Stakeholders from emissions units programmes, project developers, trading companies whose product portfolio include emissions units, and associated consultancy firms
