Goal This workshop provides aviation professionals with an overview of CORSIA Eligible Fuels (CEFs) and addresses common questions related to their implementation. Learning Objectives • After completion of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of key aspects of CORSIA Eligible Fuels in the context of CORSIA implementation, namely; • Sustainability criteria for CORSIA Eligible Fuels • Life cycle emissions of CORSIA Eligible Fuels • Qualification of CORSIA Eligible Fuels • Market considerations (supply, demand and price) for CORSIA Eligible Fuels • Claiming emissions reductions from CORSIA Eligible Fuels in CORSIA • Calculation of emissions reductions claims from CORSIA Eligible Fuels Primary Target Population Staff from Civil Aviation Authorities and Ministries of Transport, including CORSIA Focal Points Staff from aeroplane operators Secondary Audience: Staff from Government entities other than Civil Aviation Authorities Staff from consultancy companies whose primary clients are aeroplane operators Stakeholders associated with the production, certification and/or trading of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and lower carbon aviation fuels (LCAF)
