Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal This course provides passenger handling agents with competencies required to effectively identify prohibited dangerous goods in accordance with GACAR-Part 109, ICAO Annex 18 and KSA Airport Operations Manual. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to; • Comply with dangerous goods safety principles. • Apply the provisions of carrying dangerous goods with passengers • Check prohibited dangerous goods • Apply emergency response procedures for dangerous goods incident occurrences. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Dangerous Goods Safety Principles • Module 2 : Provisions of carrying Dangerous Goods • Module 3 : Prohibited Dangerous Goods • Module 4 : Emergency Response Procedures for Incident Occurrences Primary Target Population Passenger Handling Agents Secondary Audience: Passenger Handling Supervisors Cabin Crew Officials Airlines Officials Airport Officials Civil Aviation Officials Entry Requirements • University diploma or equivalent qualification • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations is preferred • Good command of English Language
