Goal This course provides Aeronautical Information Services operational staff with the competencies to achieve compliance with Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) requirements in a data-centric AIM, in accordance with Annex 15 - Aeronautical Information Services. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • Describe the role of Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) network • Transition from product-oriented Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) to data-centric AIM • Reduce the timeframe required to achieve compliance with the new AIM requirements Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Ensuring quality of aeronautical data • Module 2 : Collection of aeronautical data • Module 3 : Processing of aeronautical data and information • Module 4 : Distribution of aeronautical data and information • Module 5 : Wrap-up Primary Target Population Aeronautical Information Services operational staff (Aeronautical Information Management Officers). Secondary Audience: Aeronautical Information Services subject matter experts. Entry Requirements • Personnel responsible for defining and setting up the aeronautical data process or personnel performing operational data management tasks in the context of the aeronautical data chain
