Goal This course will provide newly hired airport workers with the foundational competencies necessary for airport operations, in accordance with the HKIA airport regulations and guidelines. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • • Determine safety hazards in airport operations; • Apply preventive measures to safeguard the airport; • • Respond to incidents to ensure airport business continuity. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Safety hazards in airport operations • Module 2 : Preventive measures to safeguard the airport • Module 3 : Respond to incidents Primary Target Population Newly hired airport workers Secondary Audience: Supervisors and managers and other HKIA staff who never received such training before Entry Requirements • Basic English proficiency
