Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course will provide Air Traffic Management Staff with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to effectively conduct threat and error management in the workplace; and perform as part of a team in accordance with CAA requirements and ICAO Cir 314 AN/178 Threat and Error Management in Air Traffic and Doc 9683 Human Factors Training Manual Learning Objectives • Perform effectively within the ATM team; • Manage situational awareness; • Identify threats, errors, and undesired states; • Manage threats and errors in the work environment. Primary Target Population All staff involved in ATM systems (such as: manager ATS, ATS supervisor, air traffic controllers and assistants, unit training officers, safety officers and ATS administration staff); Those in Aeronautical Information Services roles. Secondary Audience: Air navigation services management and quality officers. Civil Aviation Authority's ANS and safety staff. Entry Requirements • Working in the field of air traffic management; • Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 and above or equivalent.
