Goal To Provide Air Traffic Safety & Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) with knowledge, skills and attitude required to operate and maintain ILS NORMARC 7000B (INDRA) for providing smooth uninterrupted services as per ICAO Annex 10, Aeronautical Telecommunications, Vol 1- Radio Navigation Aids 8th Edition July 2023, Civil Aviation Requirements section 9 Series D and CNS Manual of Airports Authority of India. Learning Objectives • On completion of this course the trainee will be able to • A) Operate the ILS NORMARC 7000B (INDRA) • Perform preventive maintenance of ILS NORMARC 7000B (INDRA) • Perform corrective maintenance of ILS NORMARC 7000B (INDRA) Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Operation of Localizer (NM 7014B) • Module 2 : Operation of Glide Path (NM 7034B) • Module 3 : Preventive Maintenance of LLZ (NM7014B) • Module 4 : Preventive Maintenance of Glide Path (NM7034B) • Module 5 : Corrective Maintenance of Localizer (NM7014B) • Module 6 : Corrective Maintenance of Glide Path (NM 7034B) • Module 7 : Flight Check of ILS NORMARC 7000B Primary Target Population Primary target population is Air Traffic Safety & Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) who are currently assigned or about to be assigned maintenance duties at the ILS NORMARC 7000B (INDRA) site. Secondary Audience: Secondary target population is ATSEP management personnel. Entry Requirements • ‘Engineering’ Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical. Science Graduates/ Diploma after qualifying in an eligibility exam
