Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course will provide air traffic controllers with competencies to perform OJTI/STDI duties in unit training environment in accordance with the OJTIs’ competencies and observable behaviors of the ICAO competency framework presented in the ICAO PANS-TRG, Doc 9868. . Learning Objectives • Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will be able to: • Apply planning procedures for training • Organize required training environment and conditions • Manage the trainee during training • Conduct a training session • Ensure safety and efficiency of the operation during training; • Apply human factors principles during training • Evaluate the trainee’s performance; • Evaluate the efficiency of training Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Organization of Training • Module 2 : Human Factors • Module 3 : Training Techniques • Module 4 : Evaluation and Report Writing Primary Target Population Air traffic controllers who hold or have held an ATC licence. Secondary Audience: N/A Entry Requirements • Participants must hold or have held an ATC licence.
