Goal This course will provide current Meteorological Observers/ Met Technicians with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to carry out meteorological observations, coding and transmission to the required level of competency, in accordance with Qatar Civil Aviation Regulations (QCAR-Part 3). Learning Objectives • -Conduct meteorological weather observations • -Prepare weather observation reports • -Operate MET. Instruments • -Conduct preventive maintenance Primary Target Population The primary target population are Meteorological Technicians (Observers) working at various observatory stations. Secondary Audience: The secondary target population are Meteorological Maintenance Technicians and MET. Supervisors. Entry Requirements • -High school graduates • -Proficient in spoken and written English language
