Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This Course will provide Aerodrome Controllers with necessary knowledge skills and attitude to effectively control aerodrome traffic during low visibility conditions in accordance with KSA GACAR 171, ATSP-1&2 and ICAO Documents. Learning Objectives • Control aerodrome traffic on the movement area in low visibility conditions. • Control aerodrome traffic during CAT II / III operations in low visibility conditions. • Control special VFR traffic in low visibility conditions. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Control aerodrome traffic on the movement area in low visibility conditions. • Module 2 : Control aerodrome traffic during CAT II / III operations in low visibility conditions. • Module 3 : Control special VFR traffic in low visibility conditions. Primary Target Population Aerodrome Controllers Secondary Audience: Approach Controllers Area Controllers Entry Requirements • Trainee should have successfully completed: • Basic Air traffic control Course. • ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency level 4
