Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course will provide Flight Operations Officers/Flight Dispatchers in charge of Aicraft Performance and Flight Planning for flights performed with Aircraft under FAR25 regulation, with the competencies required to effectively complete Aircraft mass and Performance calculation in accordance with national regulation and ICAO provisions contained in Annex 6, Annex 8 and ICAO DOC 10106. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • Analyze applicable AFM-Aircraft mass limitations, • Calculate the maximum permitted take off mass considering AFM, Aircraft performance calculations, various conditions, limitations, malfunctions and operational criteria, • Determine critical fuel scenarios considering various conditions, limitations, malfunctions and operational criteria, • Calculate the maximum permitted landing mass considering AFM and Aircraft performance calculations, various conditions, limitations, malfunctions and operational criteria, • Determine max allowed mass for Take-off considering critical fuel scenarios, various conditions, limitations, malfunctions and operational criteria. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Aircraft Structural Limitations • Module 2 : Take of Performance • Module 3 : Cruise Performance • Module 4 : Landing Performance • Module 5 : Allowed Take-off weight calculation Primary Target Population ·      Flight Operations Officers, ·      Flight Dispatchers in charge of Flight performance or Flight Planning. Secondary Audience: Pilots, Flight Dispatchers and FOD not in charge of Flight Performance of Flight Planning, CAA Operations Inspectors, Flight Operations Managers. Entry Requirements • Minimum age requirement (at least 18 Years Old), • Completed secondary education, • Proficient in spoken and written English.
