Goal The course aims to provide the NAVAIDs flight inspectors with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform the flight inspection effectively and efficiently in accordance with ICAO Annex 10, vol 1 and ICAO Doc. 8071 Vol. I, and ECAR Part 170. Learning Objectives • Identify the flight inspection profiles for NAVAIDs calibration • Apply flight inspection per-flight procedures. • Identify the flight inspection profiles for NAVAIDs calibration. • Implement flight inspection procedures. • Produce the flight inspection report. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Flight inspection Profiles for NAVAIDS Calibration • Module 2 : Flight Inspection Preflight Procedures • Module 3 : Flight Inspection Procedures • Module 4 : Flight Inspection Report Primary Target Population NAVAIDs Flight Inspectors Secondary Audience: Pilots ATC CAA Flight Inspectors Entry Requirements • 2 years’ experience in NAVAIDs operation and maintenance • Fluent in verbal and written English.
