Goal The Course will provide Flight Dispatchers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively generate Operational Flight Plans (OFP) for International flights in accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and Company operations manual. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to: • Compile Navigation Log • Determine Operating Mass • Execute Pre-Flight Briefing Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Aircraft Status Check • Module 2 : Verification of Operational and Weather Information for Operating Sector • Module 3 : NAVLOG Compilation • Module 4 : Calculation of Aircraft Operating Masses • Module 5 : Pre-flight Briefing Primary Target Population Flight dispatchers Secondary Audience: Pilots, Airspace Planners and Aerodrome Operations Personnel Entry Requirements • Ab-initio Flight Dispatch Course for Flight Dispatchers • Proficient in written and spoken English
