Goal This course aims to provide Instrument Flight Procedure Designers with the knowledge , skills and attitudes required to design all the procedures of Heliport Operations in accordance with ICAO Doc. 8168 Vol. II Part IV and Local manual ECAR Part 311 Learning Objectives • After successfully completion of the course participants will be able to • Design PinS NPA Procedure • Design PinS PA Procedure • Design helicopter Cat. H Arrival Procedure • Design PinS Departure Procedure • Design helicopter Cat. H Departure Procedure Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Design Point In Space (PinS) NPA Procedure • Module 2 : Design Point In Space (PinS) PA Procedure • Module 3 : Design Helicopter (Cat. H) Arrival Procedure • Module 4 : Design Point In Space (PinS) Departure Procedure • Module 5 : Design Helicopter (Cat. H) Departure Procedure Primary Target Population Instrument Flight Procedure Designers Secondary Audience: Pilots Air Traffic Controllers AIM Officers Entry Requirements • Fluent in verbal and written English • At least 8 years experience in the field on flying or air traffic services • Obtained advanced IFP design training in ICAO PANS-OPS recognized by CAA
