Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal To impart the potential Pseudo Pilots with the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to initiate the preparation and operation of the “atsCAP” Pseudo Pilot position during the Surveillance and Procedural Control Simulation exercises in accordance with atsCAP User Manual of ST Engineering and as per the standard procedures laid down in AAI CATC simulation handouts. Learning Objectives • Recognize the functional setup of the atsCAP simulator system. • Initiate the necessary steps for generation of simulation exercise in atsCAP simulator system • Perform simulation activities during the simulation exercise to generate live scenarios for trainee controller, as experienced in real environment. Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : atsCAP Simulator System • Module 2 : Simulation Activities on atsCAP Simulator Primary Target Population Potential Pseudo Pilots for ATC Surveillance and Procedural Control Simulator Training. Secondary Audience: ATC Instructors. ATC Quality Managers. Entry Requirements • Degree in Science with Physics and Mathematics OR equivalent Degree • Level 4 Proficiency in English Language. • Basic computer knowledge.
