Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal To provide participants with competencies to implement and maintain safety on the ramp in accordance with ICAO Annexes 10, 14, ICAO Docs 4444, 9859 and national regulations and ICAO standards. Learning Objectives • Upon completion the course, the trainees will be able to: • Identify required Safety Equipment used at the Ramp Area • Identify Hazards and manage risks • Identify Ramp Area markings and Signages • Apply Radio Telephony Techniques • Apply appropriate action for special handling and abnormal situations Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Safety Concept and Equipment • Module 2 : Aerodrome and Safety Precaution • Module 3 : Radio Telephony Techniques • Module 4 : Special Handling and Abnormal Situations Primary Target Population Ramp Personnel Secondary Audience: Airport operator; DGCA Personnel. Entry Requirements • The trainee should completed training related to their specific Job performance at the ramp area. • Participants must be able to read, write and speak English language.
