Goal This course provides Officers from Airside Operations and Planning department with the necessary competencies required to re-declare runway declared distances in accordance with ICAO Annex 14 Vol 1, 9th Edition Nov 2022, ICAO Doc 9157 Part 1, and ICAO Doc 10066, PANS-AIM. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: • Conduct the Site Survey • Conduct Impact Assessment • Re-Declare Runway Declared Distances Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Site Survey • Module 2 : Impact Assessment • Module 3 : Re-Declaring Runway Declared Distances Primary Target Population Officers of Airside Planning and Airside Operations department Secondary Audience: Officers from Airside Safety and Airport Operations Control Center, Air Traffic Services and Civil Aviation Authorities i.e Aerodrome Inspectors Entry Requirements • Should be at least graduate/ Bachelor's Degree with two years experience or should have passed at least Senior Secondary School education with at least one year's experience in Airside Planning or Airside Operations department. • Should be able to read, write and speak English language
