Goal This course aims to provide SMC(SAR Mission Co-ordinator) with adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes to execute Search area calculation for SAR operation in accordance with national and international standard procedures. Plot the search area Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Data Collation • Module 2 : Drift Calculation • Module 3 : Maritime Calculation • Module 4 : Drift Position • Module 5 : Search Area Primary Target Population SAR personnel Secondary Audience: 1. Watch Manager 2. Supervisor 3. Training Officers Entry Requirements • Successfully completed ICAO057 SAR Mission Co-ordinator Course or equivalent.
