Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal This course will provide Knowledge, Skill and desired Attitude to the Air Traffic Controllers to enable them use the Situation Data Display (SDD)in air traffic control surveillance operation for safe, smooth, efficient and orderly flow of air traffic. Learning Objectives • After successful completion of this course, the participants will be able to: • Manage (create/ modify/cancel) the flight plan • Manage surveliance alerts and flight conformance warnings • Operate the main menu for the safety and efficient flow of air traffic • Operate the sector list • Generate Maps Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Management of General Information Menu • Module 2 : Management of Main Menu • Module 3 : Mangement of Surveillance Alerts using Flight Conformance Warning • Module 4 : Course Closure Primary Target Population Air Traffic Controllers who are responsible for safe, efficient, smooth and orderly flow of air traffic. Secondary Audience: Air Traffic Controller Managers who are in charge of area ccontrol center. Entry Requirements • Air Traffic Controllers who successfully completed Basic ATC Course and work on Aircon 2100 System.
