Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal The course will provide the technical personnel within State Aviation Agencies with the competencies required to develop and implement State Safety Programmes in their States as per ICAO Annexes and applicable State’s rules. Learning Objectives • At the end of this course, participants will be able to: • Provide recommendations for the SSP legal and institutional framework • Apply processes with appropriate tools for State safety risk management • Use the supporting tools and processes needed to enable safety data analysis • Establish mechanisms for State safety performance management to support decision making Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : SSP Legal Basis • Module 2 : Safety Risk Management • Module 3 : Safety Assurance Primary Target Population Personnel from the main technical divisions/sections/departments related to direct implementation and operation of the State Safety Programme (SSP). Secondary Audience: Managers and personnel within State Aviation agencies responsible for State Safety Programme. Entry Requirements • Successful completion of ICAO Fundamentals of Safety Management online course • Good oral and written command of the English language • Computer literacy using contemporary software programs • College degree or equivalent qualifications and experience in civil aviation
