Curriculum & Course Overview
Goal This course will enable pilots, controllers and ground operations personnel to effectively apply TIBA Safety procedures (in uncontrolled airspace) in accordance with KSA Air Traffic Service Procedures, Section 15.22, KSA AIP, (ENR 1.4 & GEN 1.7)& KSA GACAR TIBA Operating Procedures. Learning Objectives • After successfull completion of the course, participants will be able to; • Apply TIBA Procedures for landing aircraft • Apply TIBA Procedures for departing aircraft • Apply emergency procedures in unconrolled airspace Primary Target Population -Air Traffic Controllers -Airlines pilots Secondary Audience: -Ground Operations personnel, -Foreign & KSA airspace users, -General Aviation personnel, -Flight information specialist officers (FISO), -Airside personnel Entry Requirements • Trainee should; • a) have successfully completed Basic Area Control Course or be a pilot or possess Aviation Background • b) preferably possess competency level 4 in the ICAO English Language Proficiency Requiremets Tests.
