Curriculum & Course Overview

Goal To Provide Air Traffic Safety & Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) with knowledge, skills and attitude required to operate and maintain VHF (OTE) communication system for providing smooth uninterrupted services as per CNS circulars of Airports Authority of India and the national operational regulations and procedure. Learning Objectives • On completion of this course trainees will be able to : • (i)        Operate VHF (OTE) Transmitter and Receiver. • Perform preventive maintenance of VHF (OTE) Tx and Rx • (iii) • Perform corrective maintenance of VHF (OTE) Tx and Rx Structure • Module 0 : Introduction • Module 1 : Operation of VHF (OTE) Tx DT 100 • Module 2 : Operation of VHF (OTE) Rx DR 100 • Module 3 : Configuration of AK 100 • Module 4 : Preventive maintenance of VHF (OTE) Tx DT 100 • Module 5 : Preventive maintenance of VHF (OTE) Rx DR 100 • Module 6 : Corrective maintenance of VHF (OTE) Tx DT 100 • Module 7 : Corrective maintenance of VHF (OTE) Rx DR 100 • Module 8 : Corrective maintenance of VHF (OTE) AK 100 Primary Target Population Primary target population is Air Traffic Safety & Electronic Personnel (ATSEP) who are currently assigned or about to be assigned maintenance duties at the VHF site. Secondary Audience: Secondary target population is ATSEP management personnel. Entry Requirements • Engineering Degree in Electronics & Telecommunicatio/ Electronics & Electrical. Science graduate / Diploma after qualifieng in an eligibility exam. • Language of instruction: English
